King Edward IV 1399 to 1413

King Edward IV Ryal, 1464-1470. With a value of ten shillings the gold ryal was a replacement for the noble during the reign of Edward IV. Several provincial mints - Bristol, Coventry, Norwich and York as well as London contributed to making large quantities of gold coinage in this period.
